Payton Park spans nearly nine acres of land and includes a large fishing pond full of catfish, bream and bass as well as an open space for Frisbee and playing football. Payton Park boasts a lighted, paved walking track as well as restrooms and several picnic tables and benches throughout. The park is conveniently located next to the Southside Library. The picnic shelter located within the park is an ideal space for family gatherings and is available for rent.
