Winner of The American Prize in Orchestral Performance, this orchestra has served both the cultural life of Valdosta since 1990 and is comprised of VSU faculty, students, and professional musicians from a five-state region. Led by world-renowned director, Howard Hsu, it attracts national and international performers to the Valdosta community. The symphony wows audiences in its 30th season with classics like Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker and Wagner's Tristan und Isolde.
